I usually don’t release songs written by others, but I’ve always wanted to give my own take on Michael Jackson’s classic, "Remember The Time." It took me years to figure out how to put my own spin on the tune. I wanted to stay true to the original from 1991 and keep the same energy, but also adapt it to 2025. I heard saxophonist Phil Wigfall (a member of Celine Dion's touring band) a few months ago in Las Vegas and I was instantly captivated by his tone and phrasing. A light bulb went off in my head, and I immediately thought of his sax being featured on the B-section of the song. I invited him to my studio last month, and here’s the result of our work. I hope you’ll enjoy the song!
